About Farrar Natural Stone
Farrar Natural Stone was acquired by Woodkirk Stone several years ago and operates from a modern, purpose built factory in Longstanton near Cambridge. Both Woodkirk Stone Sales and Farrar Natural Stone staff operate from the new factory.
Significant investment in new machinery has been made to increase production capacity and meet the increased demand to supply London and South East. Computer controlled equipment is used to get the precis tolerances required by British Standards and our masons have all achieved their City & Guilds Craft and Advanced Craft Certificates in Masonry.
We also recognise the need to offer new stones to the market place and so have increased our portfolio of stones to include sandstones, limestones and granite from the UK and overseas whilst still maintaining close links to the quarry in Leeds which allows us priority access to Woodkirk Yorkstone. Our sales and estimating department can advise on which of our stones would be best to meet your design.
Recent projects include:
- The Corn Exchange, Manchester
- One New Bailey, Salford
- Dickens Yard, Ealing
- Kings Cross Development, London
- Paddington Central, London
In addition to our supply of hard landscaping materials we also produce architectural masonry for memorials and sculptures. We manufacture for a number of Historic building and Ancient monument restoration projects as well as new build projects.
By employing a strong sales and administration team the company is well positioned to offer an excellent service to both new and existing customers.
Woodkirk Stone Sales and Farrar Natural Stone are committed to maintaining a quality service you can rely on.
